WHAT IS A “ReMake”?

Our ReMake pieces are one-to-one; they have been thoughtfully and creatively redesigned.  We are reconsidering classics by deconstructing our favorite, vintage, deadstock and curated second-hand garments. Mixing product categories and materials from different decades. Creating something entirely new and unexpected in the process by bringing these iconic pieces back to life with new energy and resonance. Restoring value while diverting more garment and textile waste from landfills.

We take the time to ensure you get a beautifully unique garment that you love. Each piece has lived its own life and will have slight variations in color, look, feel, etc. The wear and slight imperfections of ReMade pieces are part of what makes the garment beautiful. We call these “character traits” and believe they make each piece even more unique and well-loved. If you prefer a new piece, please read our next section about our small batch collections!


WHAT IS A SMALL-BATCH COLLECTION?

All of our small-batch collection items are newly designed pieces made from sustainable, ethically sourced materials. Garments are well made to last a lifetime and cycle back into the earth.

We work with local partners within a 5-mile radius of our studio to ensure fair living wages, good working conditions and to reduce our carbon footprint. 


HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE I AM?

To best gauge your appropriate size, please refer to the sizing chart for the particular item you’re interested in. This can be found directly on the respective product page.

 

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Amex, Mastercard, Discover), Afterpay.

 

CAN I PICK UP AN ORDER OR DROP OFF A RETURN FROM YOUR STUDIO IN UNION CITY?

Yes, absolutely!  We would love you to pay us a visit.  Contact us directly to make an appointment.

 

WHAT COURIER PROVIDERS DO YOU USE?

All orders are shipped via UPS and USPS.

 

CAN I USE A PO BOX FOR MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?

No, we do not ship to PO boxes.

 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We currently ship worldwide. However, all shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.  Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for pricing.

 

WILL I BE CHARGED DUTIES AND TAXES?

cmotastudio is not responsible for any import fees, customs, duties, or other taxes imposed by your respective country.

 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

Please allow 1-3 business days for processing time. 

We provide free standard domestic shipping. This usually takes 4-5 business days to arrive. International shipments typically take 5-7 business days to arrive. 2-day shipments usually take 2 business days to arrive. Please note that time may vary due to weather, customs, or unforeseen variables.


I JUST PLACED AN ORDER, CAN I CANCEL IT?

Unfortunately, we cannot cancel orders once your order has been submitted.

 

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

You may return an item within 14 days of receipt for a refund. Returned items must be in their original, undamaged, unworn and unwashed condition, with all packaging and tags intact and attached. Please be mindful of perfumes, deodorants or other products that would leave a scent or stain when trying on items. Please see our Policies pages for information on how to start a return. 

WHERE ELSE CAN I FIND YOUR PRODUCT?
